INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA— INK 2018, Incheon K-pop Concert in full, took place at the Incheon Munhak stadium on Saturday, September 1st.

Incheon’s continuous celebration for the Korean Wave festival has continued for ten years with great success after its commencement in 2009.

Fans from various groups, be it overseas or native, gathered as one to witness their favourites performing. Saying that the lineup was undoubtedly great would be an understatement, consisting of more than 20 idol groups and singers, ranging from power rookies such as (G)-IDLE and Stray Kids to senior veterans such as BAP and Red Velvet and even soloists such as Hwang Chiyeul and Jeong Sewoon.

Let us take a look at some of the show catching moments from the power-packed lineup on Saturday. To get things started, the special MCs for the evening were Astro's Moonbin and Weki Meki's Doyeon.

1. Opening with Astro - Do Dream! Be Dreamer!
The show started with a very inspirational video opener showcasing Astro's Moonbin, Rocky and Jinjin, transitioning to a performance by the three of them called 'Do Dream! Be Dreamer!'. The trio was decked out in an all-white outfit, stunning the crowd with their beautiful dance routine where they were later joined in by backup dancers dressed in all black that filled up the entire stage. Even with that, the boys still stood out with their energetic dancing, starting the show spectacularly.

2. Attack of the rookies
Throughout the show, there were a few familiar songs that were performed by rookie groups such as Momoland with their energetic performance of BAAM, Pentagon's bright performance of Shine even with the absence of E'Dawn and Yanan, CLC's sexy and captivating performance of Black Dress and Stray Kids' energetic and suave performance of their song titled My Pace.

3. Special stages galore
As the crowd were warmed up by performances, it was then time for the special stages where hits from the past were performed with renewed energy and an all-new rendition starting with NFlying performing the fellow FNC senior's, FT Island, song called How R U Today. The baton was then passed on to Fromis_9 where they covered Girls Generation's Oh! (Was this an inspiration from the news of the new SNSD subunit Oh!GG?).
The performance was followed by Weki Meki's cover of f(x)'s Hot Summer as summer in Korea was at its peak hottest. The special stage was topped off with rising rookies TRCNG covering BAP's famous debut song titled Warrior which turned into a collaboration when BAP themselves took the stage to finish off the song.

4. B.A.P litting up the stage
Even with the absence of their leader Bang Yongguk, B.A.P lit up the stage with their hit song, Skydive where they were accompanied by the loud cheers of their fandom, known as BABY.
Well, B.A.P never fails to put on a spectacular performance. A great group showing their six years of experience performing on stage and demonstrating the incredible stage presence that they've shown continually ever since debut.

The other highlights of the concert included acts such as AOA and Red Velvet hyping up the crowd with their latest catchy summer tunes Bingle Bangle and Power Up respectively.

5. Closing the act with Nu'est W
After gaining a new spirit after four of the members of Nu'est came on the television show Produce 101 Season 2 last year, with the absence of Minhyun, the remaining members formed the subunit Nu'est W. The anticipated group of the night performed their song Dejavu. The boys came on stage, decked out in black and red outfits where they indeed have delighted the fans judging by the loud cheers. The crowd was seen chanting along to the songs loudly. Nu'est W surely knows how to end the concert with their suave dance moves where it shows how good their teamwork is.

Shortly after the Nu'est W ended, the finale came where all the artists of the day were brought back up on stage to bid their farewells to the fans who came down. They were accompanied by spectacular fireworks that painted the night sky.
